Dien Bien Phu, some pictures in memory - Part 2 Operation Castor and installation of the entrenched camp

As Operation Castor come to her end and the first casualties are evacuated by helicopters, the Dien Bien Phu fortress take shape with extensive earthworks and the rehabilitation of the runway.

Some photos of our game at Salute 2014... finally

I have finally found the time to work on some photos taken of our game at Salute 2014, « the cache ».

The game, played with adapted Bolt Action rules, consisted for some French sections to advance through difficult terrains (including a small river) and locate a Vietminh weapons cache. Obviously Vietminh had prepared some nasty ambush for the French...
